What it is
Five voices live in it: piano, saxophone, accordion, violin and wind bell. A toddler pressing the same key through all five hears the same note sound like five different things, which is a better first music lesson than any amount of being told about instruments.
The keys are colour-coded, and that does more than look cheerful — sorting by colour is the skill a one-year-old is actually practising while they think they are making music. The animal figures rotate as it plays and the star lights up, which holds attention at the age when attention is measured in seconds.
It has a handle. Small detail, but it is the reason this ends up in the car and at a grandparent's house rather than staying in one room. Body is ABS with no sharp edges, as it needs to be for something that will be chewed at least once.

My boys love this toy keeps them entertained
Its such a fun toy. He pushes bottons and dances
This is a pretty neat little toy! It is fun for both older infants as well as younger toddlers. The animatronic movement is very engaging, along with the lights and music. I WAS surprised that the music is quite loud, and perhaps I overlooked it, but I couldn’t find a way to turn the volume down. The whole toy/device is also smaller than I thought it would be, but since it’s for young toddlers and older infants, it really shouldn’t be an issue.
This is a keeper! One 1-yr old started dancing to it immediately!
Good, sturdy for 1 year and up
