Craft kits for kids, party favors and the rest of what we make
A craft kit should survive contact with an actual child. That is the whole brief we work to. Our craft kits for kids arrive with every piece counted and nothing left to buy: the fabric flower bouquet kit brings 185 pieces and a flower maker, the airbrush art kit brings twelve washable markers and thirteen reusable stencils, the plush charms kit brings three bodies and six swappable faces. No glue, no sewing, no trip back out for batteries you did not know you needed, except where we say so on the card.
Ages matter more than theme. A three year old wants to press something and watch it light up. A seven year old wants a design that looks like the picture on the box. A ten year old wants to make something good enough to give away. We print the age band on every card because a kit aimed at the wrong year is the kit that ends up under the bed, and because the question we get asked most is simply which one is right for this kid.
Then there is the bulk half of the booth. Party favors, goodie bag stuffers, carnival prizes, classroom rewards: the same small toys, counted out in dozens and hundreds so a teacher or a parent can stop hunting. Our party favor assortments run from 200 pieces to 1000, sorted into twenty or thirty kinds, and our mini fidget spinners come sixty to a bag in pastel, in red and green, in Halloween colors. They fill eggs. They fill a prize box. They fill the gap between the cake and the parents arriving.
Making things together is the point of most of this. An art kit on a kitchen table buys an hour nobody is looking at a screen, and the sticker sheets and the stencils are there so a kid who cannot draw yet still ends up with something worth taping to a wall. The possibilities in a box of this kind are not infinite, but they are far wider than the picture on the lid suggests, and discovering that is most of the fun.
Let's be plain about what this collection is. It is a small world of cheap, real things: a magic sticky balloon, a prize box refill, a craft kit that costs less than a cinema ticket. Safety testing and honest piece counts are the two places we spend money. The joy and the love are yours to supply, and most people manage without instructions.
Asked at the booth
What ages are nicknack craft kits for?
Most of our craft kits are built for ages 3 to 12, and each card prints the band for that specific kit. The airbrush art kits and the sticky balloon kits start at 3 with a grown-up nearby; the fabric flower bouquet kit and the plush charms kit are easier from about 6, when small fingers can manage the fiddly bits alone.
Do your activity kits include everything needed?
Every kit includes the parts to finish the project it shows on the box. The two exceptions we flag on the card are batteries, which the airbrush sprayers and most of the musical toys need and do not include, and the obvious one: paper, a table and somewhere to put the finished thing.
Are these good for travel and parties?
The mess-free ones are. Plush charms, sticky balloons and the refill kits need no glue and no water, so they travel. The airbrush kits spray washable ink, which is fine at a kitchen table and less fine in the back of a car. For parties, the bulk party favor assortments and the mini fidget spinners are what we actually designed for the job.
How do craft kits for kids promote learning and creativity?
The useful part is not the finished object, it is the sequence. Sorting the pieces, following a step, getting it wrong, trying the next idea. Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination come along for free. The imaginative jump happens later, when a kid stops following the guidebook and starts making designs it does not contain.
What is the difference between your party favor assortments?
Count and variety. The 200-piece box holds 21 kinds, the 250-piece goodie bag mix is sorted for filling bags rather than a prize box, and the 1000-piece assortment holds 31 kinds and is sized for a full school year of classroom rewards.
Where do I actually buy one?
Every card here carries a stamp that opens our listing on the partner store that handles our orders. Payment, delivery, tracking and returns all happen there. We keep the catalog and the piece counts; they keep the warehouse.
