What it is
No needle, no glue, no mess — which rules out the three reasons a plush craft normally gets abandoned halfway. Pieces press on and come off again, so a charm that turned out wrong is fixable rather than ruined.
Each of the three bodies takes two faces, one on the front and one on the back, giving six in total between monsters and animals with ears and feet to match. Children work out the mixing game within minutes; a monster face with animal ears is the first thing most of them build.
Once finished, the charms are about ten inches and come with soft silicone lanyards, so they go on a backpack and stay there. That is the real test of a craft kit — whether the thing made survives past the afternoon it was made in.

Awesome! My daughter and I had so much fun making these together! They’re easy to put together, and when they’re finished, they turn into the most adorable, fat, fuzzy little monsters. The colors are bright and beautiful, and I love that you can make three different colors and faces or mix and match everything to create your own combinations. The little pegs are easy to push into the "ball", too, so assembly was simple and frustration free. I have the purple one on my purse right now😂 They’re really cute, well made, and make for such a fun parent and kid activity, or simple enough for young ones to complete on their own. Great quality and very happy with this purchase!
I thought these were a really cute idea for a kids craft, and I liked that there are three colors with different faces, ears, and feet that can be mixed and matched. The pieces are soft and colorful, and I liked that there’s no glue, sewing, or messy supplies involved. Once they’re put together, they make really cute little backpack or bag charms. The only thing I noticed is that the assembly was a little harder for the child to understand than I expected. The concept seems simple, but figuring out which pieces went where and how everything was supposed to fit together took some adult help. Once we got the hang of it, it was much easier and they enjoyed making the characters. I think this would be a fun little craft to do together, especially if a younger child is using it.
These little plush charm kits were a big hit with my kids. They're fun, cute, and most importantly, something they could work on independently without a screen or a ton of help from me. The activity is pretty mess-free and kept them happily occupied while they made their little monsters. They'd also be great to stash away for travel, rainy days, or holiday break. Did it buy me a whole 20 minutes to myself? Yes. Five stars for that achievement alone.
My three year old granddaughter was excited to make this nicknack 3 Pack DIY Plush Charms Crafts Kits for Kids, until we actually started putting it together. The only things she could do was hand me the pieces, make a “cake” with the plush pieces, and pick up the pieces that fell on the floor. Even 4 - 6 year olds will need lots of supervision in order to put the charms together. First of all, I would suggest that you not follow the instructions exactly as shown. Step one shows “assembly parts”, which I did. I ended up taking the faces off because they got in the way of putting the plush parts in. I was able to work around the other pieces but the feet and arms kept turning and getting in the way. The next part was because the plush part they show in the small circle in the image doesn’t look like the actual plush part so I put the plush bases into the ball and then tried to insert the plush. That was very hard to do so I removed the bases and put the plush into them, then put them into the balls. It was also hard to get the plush into the bases. There is a white piece of plush that wraps around the bottom and it makes the plush too thick to push into some of the bases. I ended up removing part of that white plush so that they would fit into the base. I put the faces on and then attached the “extra sling”. By the time I finally finished the plush charm, my granddaughter had gone home. She will be happy to have another charm to add to her backpack. The other two charms will wait until the ten year old can assemble them!
The listing photos show these fluffy tufts already attached to their plastic clips, but opening the box hits you with a completely separate scatter of loose fuzz and microscopic hardware. Trying to wedge those miniature clips into the fur balls takes serious fine-motor precision, making the three-plus age rating feel wildly optimistic. If you hand this directly to a preschooler expecting instant independent play, prepare to clock in as the entire prep department while muttering over your iced drink. Once you get past that initial construction bottleneck, the charm making is genuinely fun. The finished monster plushies make adorable, mess-free backpack buddies that keep little hands happily engaged. It is a solid project to pass a rainy afternoon, just tackle the microscopic prep work before you hand the box over.
My daughter loved this DIY keychain making kit!
